Career Opportunities

Pharmacist in Charge

Pharmacists in charge are responsible for dispensing drugs prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners and provide information to patients about medications and their use, while advising providers on selection, dosage, interactions, and side effects. They manage and train pharmacy staff, provide exceptional customer service, review prescriptions for accuracy and suitability, and maintain all required pharmacy records, including controlled substance registries. They provide guidance on drug interactions, side effects, dosage, storage, and medication selection, with a basic understanding of compounding for verification when necessary. Lastly, they analyze prescribing trends to support patient compliance and prevent harmful interactions, and oversee overall pharmacy operations and programs while maintaining patient satisfaction.

Pharmacy Technician

Responsibilities for Pharmacy Technician include preparing prescriptions for dispensing, filling stock replacements, assisting with ordering, receiving, and maintaining inventory of drugs and supplies, and ensuring proper security and cleanliness of the pharmacy. The role also includes entering prescription and inventory data into the computer system, processing returns and credits, matching invoices to wholesaler statements, performing general clerical duties, removing outdated drugs for return or disposal under the pharmacist’s direction, contacting physicians regarding refills, prior authorizations, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Delivery Driver

The Delivery Driver loads the vehicle with scheduled deliveries, determines the most efficient delivery order, and consults with a supervisor regarding any unusual issues. Responsibilities include delivering packages, obtaining signed receipts, collecting payments when necessary, reporting delivery progress, picking up returns and pharmacy items, and maintaining delivery and mileage records while following the vehicle maintenance schedule and reporting mechanical problems. After completing delivery routes, the driver assists with general pharmacy duties such as stocking supplies and taking out garbage, daily bank deposits, and performs other related duties as assigned. They should also maintain the ability to be flexible in using a company or personal vehicle as needed.

Retail Associate

The Retail Sales Associate sells products, handles payments, and operates cash registers, scanners, and related equipment. They process cash, credit/debit cards, checks, vouchers, and automatic debits. The role involves interacting with customers to answer questions about products, prices, availability, and policies; recommending products based on customer needs. They must be able to answer phones courteously, and represent the company in a positive and professional manner. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a clean and organized store and checkout area, establishing and tabulating prices, unpacking and verifying incoming orders, stocking and straightening shelves daily, and performing other related duties as assigned.

Pharmacist

Pharmacists are responsible for dispensing medications prescribed by physicians and other health practitioners while providing patients with clear guidance on proper use, dosage, side effects, and storage. They compound and dispense medications by calculating, weighing, measuring, and mixing ingredients or supervising these processes, maintain pharmacy records, patient profiles, inventories, and controlled substance registries, and review prescriptions to ensure accuracy and appropriateness. Pharmacists also advise patients on medication brands, medical equipment, and health-care supplies, analyze prescribing trends to support patient compliance and prevent harmful interactions, and maintain a high level of customer service to promote overall patient satisfaction.
