Carts/Faxes: Medication and treatment carts are provided by the pharmacy to meet your facility’s needs. Fax machines are provided for nursing station use.
Medical Records: Sicomac Pharmacy LTC is transitioning all nursing homes to electronic medication administration records (eMARS) through PointClickCare.
Delivery Times: Sicomac Pharmacy LTC utilizes our own drivers and vehicles to deliver to facilities. A daily scheduled delivery occurs Monday through Saturday. Sunday or additional deliveries occur as emergencies arise.
Pharmacist Availability: During working hours our phones are answered by live individuals. Multiple pharmacists‘ cellular phone numbers will be provided for after hours emergencies. We have a full–time consultant pharmacist on staff.
Insurance: All insurance plans are accepted including HMO’s, Medicaid, Medicare, commercial and/or discount plans.
Billing: Option to bill facility or individual patients based on needs.
Emergency: Back–up emergency medication boxes will be provided to each facility to prevent unnecessary delay in medication administration.
Medical Equipment: Commodes, Diabetic Supplies, Heat and Cold Applications, Canes and Crutches, Orthoses, Ostomy Supplies, Tracheostomy Supplies, Urological Supplies, Nebulizers, and Surgical Dressings.
Accreditation: We are accredited with ACHC.
